Things like: Print, Radio/TV ads, Direct Mail, Face to Face, Networking TV/Radio Show, Seminars, Referrals, Public Relations, Telemarketing -> All trying to sell something.
He then brings in his Modern Marketing definition: Online adds, Email, Social Media, Podcasts, Webinars, Introductions, PR -> Overarching purpose is not to sell but to build trust. Trust is the backbone of all modern marketing and most financial advisors have no idea how to pursue “trust” marketing.
