Episode # 11 – Modern Marketing for Advisors

by Kirk Lowe and Matt Halloran | ModMarketing

Modern Marketing for Financial Advisors

Kirk’s speaks to his definitions of traditional marketing.
Things like: Print, Radio/TV ads, Direct Mail, Face to Face, Networking TV/Radio Show, Seminars, Referrals, Public Relations, Telemarketing -> All trying to sell something.

He then brings in his Modern Marketing definition: Online adds, Email, Social Media, Podcasts, Webinars,  Introductions, PR -> Overarching purpose is not to sell but to build trust. Trust is the backbone of all modern marketing and most financial advisors have no idea how to pursue “trust” marketing.

Finally, there is a great conversation about combining the two; traditional and modern marketing.
